Sun Sets on the USL. MLS on the Horizon.

With this weekend’s loss to le Impdact de Montreal in the Playoffs, the era of the USL’s Seattle Sounders has come to an end.

The ending of a team’s season is usually a sad moment for fans, and there is no doub that many Seattle Soccer fans aren’t that excited as they head to work this week. However, on the horizon is Major League Soccer and Seattle Sounders FC. A step up for Seattle Soccer. A grander scale for our local team on the national and world stage.

We look forward to Seattle’s future in the MLS. The next 6 months or so the off-season will find Sounders FC

  • selecting a Head Coach
  • go through the Expansion Draft
  • seeing what they will do with the #1 pick in the Super Draft
  • the filling out of the 2009 Roster
  • MLS league discussion
