2009schedule2The Schedule for the 2009 Inaugural Season for Seattle Sounders FC in MLS has been released.

What do you think?

9 Games will be televised nationally. With the unbalanced number of  MLS teams, Seattle will host San Jose twice and will be on the road to Chivas USA twice. Sounders FC will face all other teams once at home and once on the road.

    With the BELO partnership, all games not televised nationally will be played on either KING 5, or KONG 6.  Does that mean the August 2nd game vs San Jose, televised by TeleFutura will not be broadcast locally?  I have FSC and will be in attendence for all home games, just checking.

    i love that there are only 3 weekday games. those were always going to be harder for me to attend. and a weekend ticket is way easier to sell if one is out of town.

    not in love with the home/away distribution however. 8 of the last 12 on the road… if we are in a playoff race, that really piles on the preasure for the away results…

    i suppose you could make the argument that we are settling in at home to kick off the season and that could help us out.

    either way, it is nice to get something tangible on the calendar!!

    Hey does anyone know when this starts? “7-game packs at 15% off with an option to buy the opener will go on sale in about a week.”. I really would love to see what kind of seats and games they have for the 7 game packs and what seats they have for the opener because I’ve got to get some friends out for that one. I figured I go to GoSounders for all my info on the updates,  so they would probably be able to find out for me? =)
