It’s Official: Seattle to Host MLS Cup

We’ve noted it as a rumor first back in January. It’s Official now: Qwest Field will host the MLS Cup in 2009. The championship game will be on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 5:30p PT and will be broadcasted on ESPN.

A ticket to the MLS Cup will be included as one of the three bonus games for Sounders FC Season Ticket Holders.

Joe Roth noted, “This is a tremendous honor and reward for our season ticket holders and an added incentive for our coaches and players.”

Qwest will be the 8th stadium to host the 14th MLS Championship .

    this is great news and a great reward for season ticket holders that the event is included in the season ticket package!

    let’s hope our Sounders FC is one of the teams playing that day!!
