Sounders FC 0: :1 Kansas City

FredsKansas City came to Qwest Field on Saturday night and became the first MLS team to score on, and defeat the Sounders.

Playing with only 10 players for the final 60 minutes following a red card issued to Kasey Keller for an intentional handball, the Sounders maintained an offensive pressure through out the game.

Monroe native and Western Washington alumn, Ben Dragavon, an MLS hardship pool goalie replaced Keller.

However KC’s Davy Arnault was able to get a 35 yard blast past third string goalkeeper in the 80th minute.

Seattle drops to (3-1-0) and Kansas City moves to (2-2-0) on the young season.Seattle will head to Carson, CA next week to take on the Western Conference leaders, Chivas USA.
