Seattle had a James Riley own-goal and then Chivas USA’s Chukwudi Chijindu added a security goal in the 84th minute as the league leaders improve their record to 4-0-1 (13 points).

The loss drops Sounders FC to 3-2-0 (9 points).

It was a physical game. Chivas USA committed 18 fouls to Seattle’s 6. Sigi Schmid noted, “I thought it was a very physical game, and I thought the referee allowed it to be played physically, but they’re a good passing team, they don’t make many positional errors, and they were pretty solid defensively.”

I think LeTOux gets pushed off the ball too easy. Zakuani needs to be in from the begining. Not sure on Evans. And Freddie had a pretty poor clearance that led up to the own goal.

I definitely want to see Zakuani in from the start for the next game.  He adds such a spark on the wing.
