Sounders FC TV Ratings

We know that Sounders FC are doing well at the ticket office selling out the soccer-configured Qwest Field for the first 9 games of the 2009 MLS Season.

Well, the Sounders are doing well on TV as well. Amazing actually. According to Glenn Davis, the live broadcast of last Saturday’s match got a rating of 4.1. That equates to over 73,000 households and close to 183,000 viewers.

The replay recorded a strong 1.5 rating.

According to Davis, that means Sounders FC reached 116,025 homes and 290,062 people in the the Seattle TV Market. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
