Barcelona vs. Sounders Preview
FC Barcelona, the Winners of the 2009 EUFA Champions League head to Seattle for their second match in their 2009 US Summer Tour. Last weekend, the Catalan Giants defeated the LA Galaxy 2-1 in front of 94,000+ fans at the Rose Bowl.
Barça has also defeated Al-Ahly from Egypt and drawn with Tottenham Hotspur in the 2009 pre-season. Those matches were in the Wembley Cup.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early due to traffic and construction. The club is encouraging fans “to avoid south royal Brougham way unless they park in the Qwest event Center Garage. fans parking in the garage will have access by one lane only via south royal Brougham way and fourth avenue south.”

It looks like the record attendance for a Seattle Soccer match is being threatened. The current record for the largest crowd to watch soccer in Seattle is 66,830 when Real Madrid came to Qwest to play DC United 3 years ago.
