Petition for Commemorative Kit

The discussion and vote on the All Blue Kits from a week ago shows that people are interested in what our Sounders are wearing.

Joel at Emerald Pitch has put together his creative knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm in creating an all-white retro kit to honor the past players and coaches of the NASL & USL, as well as the current MLS Sounders.

    That looks great!  I’d vote for swapping the baby blue and forest green for capital blue and rave green though.

    I think these commemorative jersey’s would be fun to use for special games with former usl teams.  Perhaps when the Cascadia Cup comes back and Portland and Vancouver could have similar old school jerseys as a throw back to the regions history of soccer rivalry.

    I like this, but I do agree that switch the green and blues to our current palette may be better.

    Yes, this is based off a current adidas template (Colorado uses it).  I wanted to design something that could be realistically produced.

    I am not a fan of the all white or the retro look, especially the old colors.

    I’d love to see a black 3rd kit.

    joel, have you ever mocked up anything in the dark grey color from the sounders pallet?

    i love the 2010 home kit you proposed with the dark grey socks and white shorts.

    I really like this idea too. The closest I can think of off the top of my head is a recent Bordeaux 3rd (already w/ Alonso on the back!).
