What the hell is fair play finalist?  Why is Onstad there?

yeah really???? onstad is up for fair play?

the brian mcbride one makes me scratch my head…

last year he played 13 games and had 6 goals and 2 assists.
this year he played 23 games but with only one more goal and the same number of assists.

not sure how that really qualifies you for comback player of the year.

What the hell… referee of the year Ricardo Salazar???? i must have dropped too much acid on halloween… i seemed to have entered Bizarro-Land. yes is no, black is white, and Salazar and Onstad are up for some sort of award for being good at something.

How is Keller not up for MVP?!? What’s the MLS Commissioner’s Award?

Is this one of those situations where I’m going to jump on stage and be like, “Yo Landon Donovan, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Kasey Keller was one of the most valuable players of all time!”, only to look like a douchebag later when Keller wins an award that supercedes the one I complained about?

something tells me we won’t win a single award. not even the one with all sounder players. some voting bot from dallas will give it to jeff cunningham.

I think there are only like 4 full time refs, at least that’s what a poster on ST blog section posted. somehow salazar beat out the 4th guy.

In Salazar’s defense, I really liked him up until Thursday.  He was the referee who gave Beckham the red card, gave Moreno the yellow for diving, and ignored Divotgate.   Three thumbs up.

I agree with Laurie.

At the beginning of Thursdays game I made a comment to my wife about how I was glad that Salazar was the referee because he is fair.

I ate those words later… but I think this was just one of his bad games. Or just a push that he didn’t have a good view of.

Onstad - Douchebag of the Year is more like it.   Fair
