Israeli Player Set for Trial with Sounders FC

David woke up early and beat me to it, but IMS Scouting is reporting that the Sounders will be taking a look at Israeli midfielder Yakir Luski.

He played on the U-17 National Team in 2003 and worked his way up to game time in the Israeli Premier League for Hapoel Tel Aviv and then for a third-division side last season.

The 23-year old attacking midfielder has been out of soccer for 4 months and had reports of retiring. He is evidently trying to make a comeback in the USA.
