2010Here are some known dates for the 2010 Seattle Sounders FC season…

Jan. 21 – April 15: Primary Registration Window (Players under contract in other countries may be signed by MLS clubs)

Jan. 25: Sounders FC opens training camp.

First Week of February: 2010 MLS Schedule Announced

Feb. 3-11: Training Camp at the brand new Casa Grande Performance Institute just south of Phoenix, AZ

Feb. 15-26: La Manga Cup (La Manga, Spain)
February 18th vs. Rosenborg BK
February 21st vs. Denmark’s FC Norsjalland or Norway’s Stabak
February 25 & 26- La Manga “Crossover matches”

March 1: Roster and Salary Budget Compliance Deadline (20 Senior, 4 Developmental Players)

March 19: Charity Shield vs. Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

March 25: First Kick 2010 – Philadelphia at Sounders FC( 630p PT, ESPN2)

April 10th: Sounders FC @ Real Salt Lake

May 16: FIFA mandated final match day at club level for players pre-selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup

June 11-26: MLS’s World Cup Break

TBD (Late July/Early August):  2010 MLS All-Star Game at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas

July 27: CONCACAF Champions League – Preliminary Round
(Seattle Sounders FC vs. TBD)

Oct. 24: MLS regular season ends

Oct. 28-30: MLS Cup Playoffs begin

Nov. 21: 2010 MLS Cup (neutral site TBD)

    Yeah, I’m curious when they’re finally going tell us what the schedule is!!  May need to take some days off work =)

    I suspect the schedule is done, but won’t be unveiled until the labor situation is resolved.

    Phil, you’re right with that thought… but we’ve also been told that it will be released on Wednesday.
