Update on Sounders Training from Arizona
The Sounders have been training in Arizona for 4 days, here is a quick recap of what has been going down in Casa Grande…
Day 1: After arriving in Arizona and getting settled, the club split into 3 teams and did some quick-touch, cramped quarter games
Day 2: A day of 3v3, that progressed to 4v4 with a roaming neutral player.
Day 3: The squad had two practice sessions. In the morning, the club was split into nine groups of 3 played one of Sigi’s close man-tight passing games. The point of the drill if to work on ball control in limited space. They also worked on drills. In the evening, the squad did some weight training.
Day 4: Zach Scott & Josh Gardner won the 2nd Soccer Tennis Tournament by beating Stephen King & Pat Ianni.
