The 2010 Friendlies

A few of the top European clubs (like Manchester United, City, and AC Milan) have noted their interest or intent to make a summer tour through the US like Chelsea and Barcelona did in 2009.
A year ago at this time, Sounders Fans already knew that The Blues were headed to the Emerald City, and the announcement of the second friendly against the Catalan Giants was announced in late April.
Yet, nothing has been announced for 2010. Yet. Read more

My Complaints About MLSsoccer.com
In case you didn’t notice, the new website for MLS has moved from MLSnet.com to MLSsoccer.com. We’re not going to comment on the redundancy of the URL, but on the functionality on the site.
First off, Match Day Live is awesome. HD Quality is great and better than CBS’s March Madness on Demand. The ability to watch multiple matches is a bit overkill, but a nice feature nonetheless.

ECS FC vs. FC Portlandia
Just when you thought the Portland rivalry was going into slumber mode, here’s the supporters from both teams taking to the pitch. Game is Sunday March 28th at 3pm down at Starfire. Free parking and admittance but keep in mind these are supporters, and not professionals. The graphic to our left is a little off, due to the change of kick time.

It’s Always Whiny in Philadelphia

There is guys rolling around on the pitch like they got shot. I think we need to recognize there are guys doing this stuff and trying to take advantage of the referee decisions.
Then he went on to directly discuss Freddie Ljungberg… Read more
sounders beat union… the beer report

so by my count. this is a 9 beer report. and even as i write that, i feel somewhat sober, which is pretty sad for me in many ways if you think about it.
all in all a good win on a sloppy night. nobody is going to write home about an amazing match of footy that they just watch, b/c that is not what we saw tonight. we saw a sloppy game that can be blamed much, but not all, on the weather. Read more
