Sounders CCL Group Stage Possibilities

The CONCACAF Champions League schedule for the first two rounds of the Group Stage was announced today with the remainder to be released following the conclusion of the Preliminary Round.

If the Sounders get past El Salvador’s Metapan, Seattle would travel to the winner of the other Preliminary matchup- either Honduras’s Marathon or Panama’s Tauro. That match would be on Thursday, August 19th.

Sounders FC would then host Mexico’s Monterrey on Wednesday, August 25th.

Again, this is all dependent on Seattle getting past Metapan in the Preliminary Round of the CCL.

    Wow Monterrey I think we can sell out the whole stadium I’m very intrested in seeing this game

    I hope if we play Monterrey it is at Quest, and why not, it would make a lot of money.

    To be confirmed, but it looks like Metapan’s stadium got the pan from CONCACAF and they’re going to play the leg down there in San Salvador.
