FIFA Presdient Sepp Blatter announced today that Qatar beat out the USA for the rights to host the 2022 World Cup. Australia, Japan, and Korea were also in the mix. The 2018 World Cup was awarded to Russia as they beat out England, Spain/Portugal, and Netherlands/Belgium.
