a BS rule

read this in the ‘notes’ section of a jose romero column… i didn’t know this rule and it is pretty poor if you ask me.
Nate Jaqua, who received two yellow cards Saturday in Seattle’s 1-0 loss at Chivas USA, now has five this season. That would normally be cause for a one-game suspension, but because he received a red card and was ejected for the second yellow, he remains at four yellow cards and will miss this week’s game against San Jose for the red. If he receives another yellow card after his suspension, he will be suspended for another game
i am not sure if i can think of a better way to handle this off the top of my head right now, but this seems like a double penalty for me. Read more
