There is no doubt in my mind that the Sounders Front Office made the astute business decision in bringing in CD Guadalajara to face Seattle in the Rave Green’s third international friendly of 2010.
Qwest Field will host that match on October 12th.

Suprised at the reaction to Ticket C
As you have read, ticket C is going to be Chivas de Guadalajara. While not a ‘world power house’ or a club filled with many(any) household names, it is still a very big club that has a lot of skill and tradition.
The reaction around the blogosphere, however, has been largly negative, and I gotta say, I think it is stupid. Read more
CCL Tickets On Sale Today
Tickets for the Sounders first Group Stage match against Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions League go on sale on Monday (8/9) @ 10a.
The match kicks off at 7p on Wednesday, August 25th. Tickets are priced from $15-30.

After spending way too much time negotiating the maze that is the Sounders-Ticketmaster interface yesterday, I can now tell you with authority that the answer to all your ticket-buying problems is: Ignore TicketMaster and the Sounders site and the online stuff, and instead have your ticket rep’s phone number tattooed on whatever part of your body is easiest to see when you make a phone call.
I called my rep this morning and was able to purchase tickets in the same row as my season tickets, for the same price — which was only $25 for my midline seats. (Seats which I’d pay $35 for in a league match. Or $50 if I were a new ticket holder.)

Dear Sounders: Here’s Why You’re Having a Hard Time Selling CCL Tickets
Word out this morning is that Sounders had sold only 13,000 tickets for the CONCACAF Champions League game game on Wednesday against Isidro Metapan of El Salvador. Which is pretty pathetic for a team that’s averaged over 36,000 per home game so far this year, and which will make Qwest look pretty damn empty. (This is especially sad after the team went to the not insignificant expense of printing out those really cool full-color posters on heavy paper.)
When I heard the 13,000 number, I thought, “What the hell is wrong with our fans, that we would abandon our team for our first experience in international play?”
After trying to buy two extra tickets today, I’ll tell ya: There is nothing wrong with our fans. The problem is with the ticket sale process.

Tickets for the US Open Cup Semifinal between Sounders FC and Chivas USA are on sale now.
The match is set for Wednesday, September 1st at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. Kickoff is slated for 730p.
Celtic Tickets Still Available
Glasgow’s Celtic FC is headed to Seattle to take on Sounders FC on Sunday. The 42-time Scottish champion and the Rave Green kick off at noon and tickets are still available, thought limited.

Sounders vs. LA Galaxy US Open Cup Tickets On Sale
Tickets for next Wednesday’s US Open Cup Quarterfinal between Sounders FC and the LA Galaxy are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Qwest Field Ticket Office.
The match will be held on July 7th at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. All seats are $15.
Sounders @ Portland Tickets On Sale Now
Tickets for next Wednesday’s US Open Cup Third Round match in Portland between Sounders FC and the Timbers go on sale today @ 10a via Ticketmaster.
The match will be at Portland’s PGE Park on Wednesday, June 30th. Kickoff is slated for 730p and will be broadcast on FSN.
Last year, the two clubs met in the 3rd round in front of 16,382 in Portland- a 2-1 win for Sounders FC.
The winner of the match will play the Chivas USA-Austin Aztex winner in the Quarterfinals. That game would be on July 6th or 7th.
