USOC Semifinal Tickets on Sale
Tickets for the US Open Cup Semifinal between Sounders FC and Chivas USA are on sale now.
The match is set for Wednesday, September 1st at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. Kickoff is slated for 730p.
Sounders Beat LA to Advance in Open Cup

Two second half goals from Nate Jaqua gave Sounders FC the edge it needed to beat the LA Galaxy 2-0 in the US Open Cup on Wednesday night.
Seattle’s next USOC match will be against Chivas USA in the semifinals on September 1st. A match that is scheduled to be playe at Starfire in Tukwila.
Jaqua put Seattle on the board in the 50th minute when he followed up a Miguel Montano shot that bounced off of the crossbar.
In the 62nd minute, the 6′3″ Eugene Native headed in his second goal, again on a play initiated by the 18 year old Colombian, Montano. Read more

The Sounders announced today that Wednesday’s US Open Cup match against the LA Galaxy is sold out.
But those without tickets, fear not- the game will be shown live via a live videocast on SoundersFC.com.

Sounders Could Host USOC Semifinals
If the Sounders win Wednesday’s Quarterfinal in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup against the LA Galaxy, they would host the semifinal against the Houston Dynamo on August 31st or Chivas USA on September 1st.
Either match would be at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila.

Sounders vs. LA Galaxy US Open Cup Tickets On Sale
Tickets for next Wednesday’s US Open Cup Quarterfinal between Sounders FC and the LA Galaxy are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Qwest Field Ticket Office.
The match will be held on July 7th at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. All seats are $15.
Sounders Advance in US Open Cup

After 120 minutes of action and an even score it came down to the 5th Penalty Kick by Zach Scott to secure Sounders FC’s victory in the third round of the US Open Cup.
Opening their Cup Championship defense on the road in front of 15,422 at PGE Park, Seattle got an early goal in the 13th minute. Setup by an initial pass from rookies Michael Seamon to Miguel Montano, the Colombian crossed the ball to the 6′ where Sanna Nyassi volleyed the ball to Nate Jaqua’s head to put the ball past Timbers goalkeeper Sam Cronin. Sounders Begin US Open Cup Defense in Portland
Sounders FC opens up defense of their 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Championship tonight as they head to the Rose City to take on the USL’s Portland Timbers in the Third Round of the tournament.
In preparation for Portland’s ascension to MLS next season and to continue the pair’s history that dates back to 1975 and the NASL- the rivalry continues. Read more
Sounders @ Portland Tickets On Sale Now
Tickets for next Wednesday’s US Open Cup Third Round match in Portland between Sounders FC and the Timbers go on sale today @ 10a via Ticketmaster.
The match will be at Portland’s PGE Park on Wednesday, June 30th. Kickoff is slated for 730p and will be broadcast on FSN.
Last year, the two clubs met in the 3rd round in front of 16,382 in Portland- a 2-1 win for Sounders FC.
The winner of the match will play the Chivas USA-Austin Aztex winner in the Quarterfinals. That game would be on July 6th or 7th.
It’s a US Open Cup Rematch in Portland
Tonight, the Portland Timbers defeated the Kitsap Pumas 4-1 in the second round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
This means that Sounders FC will travel to the Rose City next week for a USOC Third Round Match Up as Seattle begins their quest to defend their 2009 US Open Cup Championship.
The Men in Rave Green will play the Timbers at PGE Park in Portland next Wednesday (June 30th) @ 730p.

US Open Cup Nearing
The Portland Timbers and Kitsap Pumas have progressed through the early rounds of the 2010 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup with victories over the Sonoma County Sol and Bay Area Ambassadors respectively.
TheCup.US shows that the winner of those two clubs will face Sounders FC, the defending US Open Cup Champions, in the Third Round. Either match will be on the road for the men in Rave Green; June 29th @ Bremerton or June 30th @ Portland.
